Hilltop Village Condominium 2018 Pool Rules & Regulations

The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all to assure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities. Our cooperation in abiding by these conditions will afford pleasant relaxation and recreation for all concerned. Residents are requested to caution families and guests to observe all rules and regulations and to obey the instructions of the lifeguard(s). All persons using the pool will be required to identify themselves to the lifeguard(s).

1. LIFEGUARD MUST BE ON DUTY and the pool officially opened before any user is allowed in the water.

2. Pool Passes and identification cards MUST be carried by the resident when in the pool area. "NO CARD / NO ENTRY" will be enforced. The lifeguard will request any person who's identification does not match the pool pass to leave the pool area. LOST CARDS ARE $30.00 EACH.

3. Residents who would like to bring guests may only do so by purchasing a Guest Pass through Tidewater Property Management. Each guest pass is good for up to two (2) guests and can be used the entire current season. The lifeguards do not and will not sell guest passes. ALL GUESTS must be accompanied by a card-carrying member. If the resident leaves the pool area they must ensure that their guest(s) leave with them. The number of guests may be limited by the Association and or the lifeguard(s) at any time.

4. Guests using the pool facilities are subject to the same rules and regulations as those of the residents; and residents are responsible for the conduct of their guest(s).

5. The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible party.

6. The Association and/or Management will not be responsible for lost/damaged personal property of any kind.

7. The pool may be closed at any time due to either breakdown, inclement weather, or other operational difficulties at the discretion of the lifeguard.

8. Dressing must be done in the home or bath house only.

9. All persons utilizing the pool shall wear an appropriate, clean bathing suit. Street attire (i.e. shorts, cutoffs) is not permitted in the pool.

10. All bathers must shower before entering the pool.

11. The wading pool is not a guarded pool. Children under four (4) years of age or over seven (7) years are not permitted in the wading pool at any time. They may use the wading pool only when accompanied by a parent who must remain at the wading pool as long as the child is there.
NO CHILD MAY BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON.

12. In accordance with Anne Arundel Health Code, babies requiring diapers are not permitted in the wading pool or main pool.

13. Children under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by an adult over eighteen (18) years old at all times while in the pool area and will not be permitted to use the deep water area until they can comply with the minimum standards for water safety as determined by the lifeguard. The adult must remain in the pool area the entire time that the child(ren) are in the pool area.

14. Children shall be the responsibility of the parent/guardian and not that of the lifeguard on duty.

15. It shall be the responsibility of parents that their children and guests are orderly and obey all rules and regulations of the pool.

16. Children whose height does not conform to the lowest possible water depth must be accompanied by a parent in the swimming pool.

17. Children may not use a dressing room of the opposite sex.

18. Running, pushing, wrestling, ball playing, INTOXICATION, or causing undue disturbance, in or about the pool area will not be tolerated and asked to leave. Loud playing of music in the pool area is prohibited.

19. Life preservers, inner tubes, water wings, or play equipment may not be used in the pool without expressed permission by the lifeguard. (This does not include instruction devices used in conjunction with the training under direction of qualified pool attendants.)

20. Wheeled vehicles are not permitted in the pool area.

21. NO pets are allowed in the pool area.

22. No chewing gum is permitted in the pool area at any time.

23. Admission shall be refused to all persons with infectious disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharges, or any communicable disease of any kind. Persons with excessive sunburn, open sores, or bandages of any kind will not be permitted.

24. Spouting water and similar unhygienic actions will not be permitted in the pool area.

25. Abusive or profane language or breach of peace will not be tolerated.

26. Intoxicants may not be brought into the pool area. Food will not be consumed on the concrete apron portions of the pool area. Trash and refuse, cigarettes, and cigars must be placed in the receptacles provided.
NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED WITHIN THE POOL OR POOL BATH HOUSE.

27. No glassware of any type will be permitted in the pool area.

28. All persons use this facility at his or her own risk, and in conformance with all rules and regulations. Any person may be barred from the pool or pool area at the discretion of the attendant in charge for violations of rules and regulations, or for any other reason which, in his judgment constitutes a hazard to other or to the Management.

29. The lifeguard is responsible for the strict enforcement of the rules. He/She has authorization to temporarily deprive any resident or guest of this facility.

30. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or deny pool privileges to anyone at its sole discretion.

31. ALL PERSONS USING THE POOL AREA DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. The management does not assume responsibility for any accident/injury in connection with such use. The lease covenants and agrees with the Management and/or owners for an in consideration of the use of the pool as an added facility and makes no claim against the Management and/or owners for/or account of any loss or damage of life, limb, or property sustained.

32. The lease agrees to save harmless the management/owners from any/all liabilities and action of whatsoever nature by any guests or guests to the lease growing out of the use of the swimming pool or pool area.

33. The use of the pool and pool area is permissive.

34. All personal injuries, however slight, must be reported to the lifeguard on duty.

35. These rules may be revised and/or additional rules may be established at any time, which supplementary or revised rules shall be binding on the residents.
